Pax Christi Houston participated with the Texas Catholic Conference in a “March for Life” in Huntsville in November 2008. Cardinal DiNardo’s prayer at the Huntsville Prison execution site emphasized that all life is sacred; both the unborn child and the inmate on death row are God’s children.

The group organizes the Good Friday Walk for Justice. We relate the Stations of the Cross to war, poverty and other contemporary forms of violence and injustice.  Fr. Richard Wahl leads the prayerful and meditative walk at Houston City Hall.

The group co-sponsors the University Of St. Thomas Social Justice Summer Institute.

Pax Christi enjoyed being at the Archdiocesan Youth Conference in July 2010. We had petitions for the youth to sign in support of the Bishops’ statements on immigration reform, human trafficking, banning land mines and reducing nuclear weapons.  We handed out the Bishops’ statements on these four issues.
