Pax Christi Texas

We are a fellowship of Pax Christi groups in Texas.  A regional branch of Pax Christi USA and affiliated with Pax Christi International.  Our purposes are:  increase Pax Christi membership in Texas,  assist in the formation of local groups and  facilitate communication between local groups  and with PCUSA. Your ideas, suggestions and assistance will always be gratefully received.

Pax Christi Texas has inaugurated the webpage www.txccedp.org  for the Texas Catholic Campaign to End the Death Penalty.

We have an annual, all day conference for featuring a prominent peace and justice speaker and the presentation of our “Peacemaker of the Year Award”

In October, “Right to Life” month, we organize a prayer service at the execution site in Huntsville, Texas. We pray for the victims of crime, prisoners, prison staff, politicians and officials, and for an end to capital punishment.
