Pax Christi Austin is a member of Pax Christi USA, the Catholic peace and justice movement that works and prays to create a world that reflects the peace of Christ. Pax Christi Austin strives to be the prophetic voice of peacemakers and justice seekers in the Central Texas Church. PCA is dedicated to fostering the spirituality of nonviolence and peacemaking; to working for disarmament, demilitarization, reconciliation and justice; to effecting economic and interracial justice in the US, and to supporting human rights and global restoration.
Pax Christi Austin is a sponsor for the “Courageous Conversations on Race” ministry at Holy Cross Parish. We seek to spread the word throughout the Diocese about this important work of addressing and confronting systemic racism in our society, our city and our church.
PCA meets the 3rd Sunday of every month at 7 pm in Fr John Payne House at St Ignatius, Martyr Catholic Church, one block west of the intersection of W Oltorf and S Congress.
